2. Purpose of Data Processing
Photographic, video, and audio recordings are made during OPCT events.
The processing is carried out for the following purposes:3. Type of data
- Conducting and broadcasting the events (e.g., livestream)
- Publication on websites as well as on video and social media platforms
- Public relations and reporting
- Advertising and marketing by the organizer, host, and their partners and sponsors in connection with OPCT events
The following personal data is processed:4. Legal basis
- Image and video recordings of me
- Audio recordings of my voice
- My name (including aliases)
- Team name and, if applicable, logos or other identifying marks
Processing is based on my consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Sections 22, 23 of the German Art Copyright Act (KunstUrhG) (right to one’s own image).
5. Rights of Use
I grant the organizer an unrestricted right of use—in terms of time, location, and content—that is exclusive, transferable, and sublicensable to the recordings created.
This includes, in particular, the right to: The recordings may be used across all known and future media.
- to store and archive
- to reproduce and distribute
- to make publicly available (e.g., Internet, social media)
- to broadcast (e.g., livestream)
- to edit, modify, and combine with other content
6. Compensation
This consent is provided free of charge.
7. Duration of Processing
This consent is valid indefinitely.
Recordings already made may continue to be used even after the end of my participation or a contractual relationship.
8. Disclosure to Third Parties
The recordings may be disclosed to the organizer’s partners, sponsors, and contracted service providers and used by them, provided this serves the purposes mentioned above.
9. Right of Withdrawal
I may withdraw my consent at any time with future effect (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

I am aware that a withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out up to that point.
I am also aware that content that has already been published may not be able to be completely removed from the Internet under certain circumstances.
